Fiji Sevens may have failed to make an impact at the Las Vegas Sevens but they showed on arrival in Canada – through song – that they are in an upbeat mood.
The entire team, along with coach Gareth Baber, performed an impromptu hymn that enraptured the waiting media and all else at the airport who were present.
The well-timed harmonies were as exquisite as their sleight-of-hand offload passes during a game and if their form at the weekend’s HSBC Vancouver Sevens is as good as their singing, then the Pacific Islanders will once again be among the favourites.
Voices as beautiful as their play! @fijirugby treated everyone at Chief Joe Mathias Centre to a traditional song at today’s #HSBC #Canada7s community visit. This is a MUST watch 🇫🇯🏉 pic.twitter.com/P9PQ66hQsO
